This week’s updates:

• PTO is still collecting Box Tops for the month of October. The class that brings in the most will receive a pizza party. Be sure to put your child’s name and grade on a Ziploc bag
• Grandparent’s Night on October 23^rd at BASCS Middle Campus from 5:30-7:00. All families are invited to attend. There are various activities that night as well as a baked goods contest.

BASCS Elementary Announcements

• Tuesday, October 21st – Bake Sale in the morning and afternoon
• Diwali Celebration on Wednesday, October 22nd at 1:30 pm. Join us for this wonderful celebration.
• Hispanic Heritage Celebration will be on Friday, October 24^th at 1:30-2:30 pm. All families are invited to attend.

BASCS Middle Announcements

• Field Trips- 6th and 7th graders are going to The American Museum of Natural History in NYC on Tuesday 10/21/14/ and 4th and 5th graders are going to the Museum on Wednesday 10/22/14
• Tuesday @ 3:00 pm in room 307 is a basketball meeting for 4th and 5th graders.  Practices will start this week.
• Thursday the students will be giving speeches during 7th period for Student Government officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer).  The students will then vote during homeroom on Friday morning for these positions as well as their own class representative.
• Bergen Middle Friday is Hispanic Heritage assembly in the gym.  The assembly will begin around 1:15 pm. Families are invited to attend.

BASCS High Announcements

• On Friday, Oct 24, 2014 in our school BASCS High School from 1:45-2:50 all students, and staff will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Celebration. All families are invited to attend.
