On Tuesday evening, 10/27, a group of Bergen ASCS High students of visual and performing arts traveled to the Javits Center in NYC for the NACAC National College Fair for the Arts. Over 150 colleges and universities from across the country and abroad were represented; admissions recruiters shared information regarding post-secondary programs for music, theatre, dance, visual and digital arts, film, and radio. The students were accompanied by the high school teachers of the arts, Mr. Hyseni (music), Mrs. Rodriguez (visual and digital arts), Mr. Innocenzi (theatre and dance), and Ms. Fantasia, iLearn School’s CGO and Director of Visual and Performing Arts. As we continue to expand and increase focus on our arts programs, we look forward to working with our students to ensure they are fully-prepared for acceptance into competitive and rigorous post-secondary programs for the arts.
