The 2019 Novartis Multicultural Teen Corporate Mentoring Program was held during Spring break at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, NJ. iLearn schools would like to congratulate participating students from Passaic and Bergen Arts and Science Charter School for taking part in the 3-day internship program. Students took time away from their own spring break to learn and create networking opportunities, this is sheer leadership which is highly promoted in iLearn schools! The program is designed to give students an opportunity to learn about and explore career opportunities at a global pharmaceutical company. They learn valuable skills related to collaborating with others, working on a tight deadline, public speaking, and networking. Program activities include shadowing/mentoring with a Novartis associate; developing a group presentation with students from other area schools; a community service project; addresses from keynote speakers like Dr. Lamont Repollet commissioner of NJDOE, Novartis executives, and/or program alumni, a college and career fair, and more, congratulations to all participants and teacher supporters
