After two years of dedicated research, Reyyan Erguder, SDP Fellow, successfully presented iLearn Schools’ strategic data project at Harvard University’s 2024 SDP Convening in Boston on April 30th. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our commitment to better serve the educational communities across New Jersey and New York.
Dr. Gurkan Kose, SDP Supervisor, shared the rewarding experience of overseeing the project, highlighting the immense value it brings to our schools.
“We are incredibly proud of Reyyan’s hard work and the strides we’ve made in data-driven education,” said Dr. Kose. “This project reflects the innovative research happening at iLearn Schools.”

We are excited to announce our iLearn Strategic Planning kickoff meeting with Lumen Impact Group to be held on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 at iLearn Central Office. Led by Greg Del Russo, project committee include the iLearn Schools Executive Team of Chief Officers and Directors. The iLearn Strategic Planning will be informed by discovery work (data gathering and data analysis from stakeholder surveys and interviews across all schools), as well as by strategic planning work completed across iLearn’s two most established districts––Bergen and Passaic Arts and Science Charter Schools, as part of their CSP grant.
Lumen Impact Group is providing iLearn with prescriptive feedback from all organizational stakeholders so that strategic planning can be guided by data gathering, data analysis, and research. Through this strategic planning project, iLearn is collaboratively reflecting on the current state of schools before crafting specific and measurable goals, objectives, and desired outcomes as a road map for achieving the desired future state and attainable, inspirational vision stories for 2025 and beyond.
Partnering with Lumen Impact Group helps iLearn make informed critical organizational decisions that are highly-intentional and directly aligned with strategic plans and future vision.
We are thrilled to announce that 2 of our team members, Dr. Gurkan Kose as SDP Supervisor, and Reyyan Erguder as SDP Fellow, will be part of the Cohort 14 of Strategic Data Project, based at CEPR at Harvard University. The cohort officially launched in August, and came together at the Fall SDP Orientation in Harvard University in October 2022.
