Grow With Us

Come grow with us at iLearn Schools. iLearn provides a myriad of ways for staff to grow in their career endeavors. From internal promotions as our organization expands to providing school leadership pathways through professional development and the iLead Teacher-Leader Fellowship, iLearn is where career advancement is encouraged and supported. iGrow gives teachers the chance to learn best practices around social & emotional learning and behavioral management. Moreover, iLearn’s structured teacher support system allows teachers to receive close guidance and support from Instructional Coaches, School Instructional Technology Coordinators, Assistant Directors of Academics, and Assistant Directors of Operations. In fact, teachers can even benefit from weekly coaching meetings in which they discuss their lesson planning and implementation in depth with their content-specific coach. In addition, iLearn’s Summer Institute for Learning allows educators the ability to grow together and learn from each other as well as from their Instructional Coaches Program Directors in preparing for each year ahead. Two District PDs and Eight Campus Staff PDs throughout the school year also provide the opportunity for continuous growth through reflection and sharing of best practices on an ongoing basis. iLearn even works closely with over 100 practicum students from Ramapo College and with several alumni, as the organization has developed strong teacher and school leader pipelines and pathways for aspiring educators to grow in their passions and professions.

Pathways to Becoming a Teacher

iLearn provides many pathways to becoming a teacher. In fact, iLearn even offers a course at the high school level entitled “Future Teachers”. iLearn also works closely with Ramapo College, providing many aspiring teachers with the opportunity to learn from our most seasoned and exceptional teachers in beginning their own journey on the teaching side of education. Our “30 College Credit” program also allows our current Seniors to earn college credits while completing graduation requirements, giving them a jumpstart toward pursuing their college and career endeavors, which may include careers in education. Additionally, iLearn’s onboarding and certification process ensures that each new teacher receives close mentoring support. As mentees, our up-and-coming teachers learn under the tutelage of our experienced mentor teachers and even from our school consultants. iLearn, therefore, provides many opportunities for aspiring teachers to enter and grow professionally in the field of education.
