Dear Passaic Arts and Science Charter School Community,
In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, beginning Tuesday, March 17, until Monday, March 30, Passaic Arts and Science Charter School will be providing online/remote education for its students. All athletics, extracurricular activities, and school-related events are also canceled until further notice.
In preparation for distance learning, Passaic ASCS conducted a Professional Development with all staff on Friday, March 13, 2020 afternoon. Besides, the schools will be closed on Monday, March 16, 2020, for a full day staff PD.
iLearn Schools already has a robust instructional technology program in place that gives our schools a distinct advantage over many other schools in this situation. We are proud to announce that iLearn Schools’ online iContinue Learning platform is now available for distance learning ( https://ilearnschools.org/covid-19-preparedness-plan/ ).
Please note that distance learning will start immediately as of Tuesday, March 17. Also, students who are eligible for Free & Reduced Lunch services will be provided breakfast and lunch. Meals will be cold and packaged in a grab-and-go style for ease of delivery and pick up by students or parents/guardians.
Please stay tuned for updates through both our school website and social media platforms as we keep everyone aware of the latest information.
